28 February 2023: Training with Walter and Minh Ha

Former Rembuden Kendo Club member Walter McCahon who has been residing in Europe for many years paid a visit with his partner Minh Ha.  Congrats to Walter who passed 6th dan in December 2022.  Great vibes training with a long lost Rembiuden Old Boy.  Bonds remain strong in Kendo regardless of how much time passes

19 February 2023 @ Auckland Seminar with Hideaki Takahashi sensei (8th dan)

Max, Rob (just after passing his 5th dan examination), Hideaki Takahashi sensei (8th dan), Martin, Kumi and Haruko.  Takahashi Sensei is among the kendo elite.  In 1994 he was World Kendo Champion, he captained the Japanese team in 2000, and has been twice 2nd place at the All Japan Kendo Championships.
