NZ Kendo Team Selection for 19th World Kendo Championships 2024

Congratulations to Max and Zac who were selected in the New Zealand Men's team for the 19th World Kendo Championships in Milan Italy, 4-7 July 2024.  They have both worked hard over the last couple of years to develop their kendo, achieve good results and realise this goal.  Rembuden Kendo Club has a proud history in terms of NZ Representatives.  In particular four of our members have been awarded fighting spirit awards at the World Kendo Championships:  Gerard Egerton (Japan 1997), Sachiyo Lee (Scotland 2003 ), Rob Challies (Italy 2012) and Haruko Tsuzuki (Korea 2018).  Keep training hard guys!
